Although you do not need to carry your Travel Insurance Policy Document with you for cover to operate, we recommend that you bring it with you every time you travel. It is a particularly important document as, among other things, it provides you with details on what to do in the event of a medical emergency. In addition, some foreign medical providers may wish to see your travel insurance documentation before they will agree to treat you.
